Brr....It's Cold

Well it is that time of year again for us in the northern states. Time to hunker down and stay inside. At least that is what I try to do in the winter, anyway. I am not a snow person. I sure am glad that I don't live in Pennsylvania or wherever it was that got all that snow. Plus I don't think my daughter would care for trudging through the snow to go trick or treating.

Invest In a Brighter Future

With the economy in such a rut I would love to escape for a little while and forget about it all. Taking a vacation would be really nice right now. I sit at my computer and stare at the warm weather scene of my computers screen saver and wish I was there as the weather in my neck of the woods begins to get colder. I would love to go away to somewhere warmer, especially when winter really hits.

I would love to go to Panama. There is a hotel in Panama called Hotel Casco Antiguo that is actually a condo hotel. They have 34 condo units for sale. It isn’t like the condos that you buy in the states though. They have hotel amenities and service including a concierge service. They also have a roof top Terrace, a bar and a pool. It does sound better than some of the problems that are occurring at this time in our present reality. Now if I can only come up with the money;-)

Laundry Soap for a Year

I was watching the Duggars on TV the other day. They were talking about how they save money. One of the things they mention is that they make their own laundry soap. Mrs. Duggar said that one batch lasts a family their size(19 people) 2 months or so. I thought to myself since I'm trying to save money on everything possible maybe I should give it a try. With my size family I think I would only have to make one batch of laundry soap that would probably last a year or more:-)

A Picture is Worth a 1000 words-especially if you have a poor memory

Do you have kids that have trouble remembering vocabulary? Or maybe if you're like me you do to. I found a site that uses pictures to help with remembering vocab words.
