When I was growing up I heard many "sayings" from my mother and grandmother. You know the type I'm talking about? Those old wives tales and other such messages that your adult relatives say to you when your young that you let go in one ear and out the other. As a kid I never had any idea what they were talking about half the time. Absence makes the heart grow founder is one such phrase that I am remembering now. My husband is away for a few days and I am missing him terribly.
