My husband loves the Beatles and because I am married to him I am required to not only listen to them, but to know who the lead singer is after the first few notes. And he quizzes me all the time too. I do have to admit their songs are good. This video is from the movie Across The Universe, which pays tribute to many of the Beatle classics. This song Is Let It Be and I'll warn you now the video is sad. Paul didn't write it about war on the larger scale, but the feud that was going on between him and his band mates. He had a dream during this tense period where his mother just told him to let it be. It was the last single released while the band was still active. It is a timeless song that does seem be a little too relevant even today. If we could only just Let It Be.
On a side note I seriously know too much about the Beatles...my husband has polluted my mind with all his Beatles trivia;-)
